FREE Printable- Remembrance Day Unit Study For Little Learners

Remembrance Day Activity Unit

Hey Homeschoolers,

I know how thoughtful you are about introducing new ideas to your kids, especially when it comes to important topics like Remembrance Day. That’s why I’ve created a special activity unit designed just for young learners—something gentle, meaningful, and age-appropriate for Grades 1 and 2.

In this unit, we explore:

- How We Say Thank You: Simple, kid-friendly ways to help our children understand gratitude toward veterans.

- Crafts and Poppy Activities: Hands-on activities, like poppy crafts and thank you cards that let little hands create as they learn.

- Poems and Reflection: Short and thoughtful discussions that encourage children to pause and reflect on what it means to remember.

I wanted this unit to feel like a way to introduce Remembrance Day without overwhelming little ones. It’s perfect for both homeschooling and classroom settings, designed to honor this day with respect and care.
